Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre, Thrissur, formerly known as NCERC, is a private engineering college founded in 2002 in Thrissur, India. Students can pursue degree programs in Business & Management, Computing & Analytics, and Engineering & Technology at the college. 

The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' Grade. The NCERC is a 9001:2015 certified institution, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), affiliated with A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University(KTU).

• A fixed amount of 50000 is charged for government merits, and a miscellaneous fee of 7200 for reservations, such as sc/st, is paid by the government.
• A scholarship facility is available. However, most scholarships are awarded only to minority students and students who take admission by entrance exam. In addition, there are additional scholarships provided by the EDC cell.
• Academic Scholarship

Merit-based scholarships, which range from 25% fee waivers to 100% fee waivers, are available for undergraduate and postgraduate programs based on past academic performance.

• Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of the financial standing of a student's family and past academic performance. 

• Admission is open for the 2023 batch in every course of the college.

• The NSS specialized cell unit 209, NCERC, had organized an orientation program. The Session was handled by Mr. Sherin S, ASAP trainer. The session was very interactive and had lots of lessons. The Session had several activities that helped the volunteers to improve their leadership quality and boosted their self-confidence. There was an adequate response from their side, thus making the Session very valuable. The trainer also made them realize how an NSS volunteer should be.

• First-year semester fees for B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) is 50,000 INR

• For pursuing a B.Tech course, candidates must score 10+2 with Science from a recognized board. Admission is based on scores obtained in KEAM Main exams.
• For pursuing an M.Tech course, candidates must score 10+2 with Science from a recognized board. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Admission is based on scores obtained in GATE Main exams.
• For the B.Sc course, 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board. Candidates appearing for the 12th exam can also apply for Merit secured in the qualifying exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 
• For the BCA course, the candidate must clear the 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science. Candidates appearing for the 12th exam can also apply on a provisional basis.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university for the MBA course.

Every year, the admissions for UG and PG courses at Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre, Thrissur, begin in February. Candidates who are interested in a particular course can apply online.

• QUOTA FROM THE GOVERNMENT: Candidates must qualify (a minimum of 10 marks in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam administered by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala (KEAM) and be included in the KEAM Rank List.
• NRI Quota: The College Authorities are entitled to fill up 15% of seats in the NRI category (NRI) by admitting qualified students.
• For B.Tech/M.Tech candidates: Candidates who have completed the AMIE / AMIETE examinations and meet the following requirements are eligible for admission.
• Admission is typically restricted to individuals who have a valid GATE score. However, in the case of management quota applicants, this restriction is eased.
• In the event that seats remain unfilled owing to a shortage of candidates with legitimate GATE scores, individuals without valid GATE scores shall be considered for such openings.
